2011 Ends and 2012 Begins with Love in Action
Warm greetings and best wishes for a wonderful new 2012 ahead! We trust that you’ve enjoyed the special holiday season and that you are looking forward with optimism to all the challenges and victories that lie before. December was an amazing month for us and our many local friends and partners, as among our many outreach activities, we were able to help make Christmas a much happier time for around 70 “Families in Crisis!”
A special mention to the following organisations for their invaluable efforts: International American School of Warsaw, British School of Warsaw, American School of Warsaw, Dutch Charity “Gewoon Doen,” International Christian Fellowship, and the Warsaw American Embassy, plus our dear friends in Copenhagen at the First International Baptist Church. Thank you all so very much!

Picture Captions: A few of the many parents, teachers and student volunteers who assisted our 3 pronged initiative to provide Food, Funds, and Fun for many in dire need. An obvious highlight was WVM’s Christmas Community Meeting, where literally hundreds of presents and food hampers were passed out by Santa and his faithful helpers. It was also a good opportunity to begin distributing the PLN 12,330 that was collected and eventually distributed in its entirety to the many beneficiaries.
It was truly a joyful time to see so many happy faces, most of whom have very difficult day to day situations. Between the meeting and Christmas we were able to arrange a series of home deliveries for those who were unable to attend due to sickness etc. A few of those visits are pictured here. Once again, a big thank you to all who helped in any way to make Christmas a much happier time than it otherwise would have been for many.
