Dutch Youth Orchestra teams up with the Foundation for summer concerts!
With one free concert in the city center, where those supported by WVM were invited, and a 2nd one at the Grochow women’s penitentiary, the Utrecht Youth Ensemble were a smash hit in Warsaw! They played not only beautiful classical pieces, but also various other styles of music including swing, pop and rock. The energy between the performers and their audience in the hall at Grochow was so strong, that everyone present knew they were witnessing something extra special. It felt like an outpouring of love and inspiration, and though no one said much in words, it seemed like everyone got the “message” loud and clear. Many thanks to our young Dutch friends for these valuable contributions!
