WVM Granted O.P.P. Status!

After operating as a registered Foundation here since November 2004, WVM was recently confirmed by court decision WA.XIV NS-REJ.KRS/026104/09/172 as an “Organizacja Pożytku Publicznego” or Public Benefit Organization.  As such, WVM is allowed to receive 1% of income tax from individuals, and is therefore now a tax deductible organization. To receive such status, an entity has to be a “non-governmental organization, involved in specific activities related to public good as described by the law, and be sufficiently transparent in its activities, governance and finances.”  Obviously we hope that this opportunity will lend itself to further stability and long-term development.  Naturally we also encourage all our friends who pay taxes in Poland, to kindly consider WVM as  recipient of the allowed 1% when filling in your end of year tax declarations.   Thank you!
